The weekly ritual of Havdalah after can only be completed by awakening our senses and returning into the physical world from the holiness of Shabbat. The spices are an integral part of this ritual.
The spice bag is made of cream-colored raw silk with a drawstring closure and is embroidered with exotic flowers and the words “Bore Minei B’samim,” which is part of the blessing we recite on the spices to thank G-d for “creating species of fragrance”.
