The wall hanging is decorated with a bird nesting at the top of the “Shin” in the word “Shalom” that is embroidered vertically down the body of the panel. Under the “Mem” in the Hebrew spelling of Shalom is an arch with “Shalom” written in English. The piece is made of raw silk with appliqu?s embroidered onto the base, creating a colorful multi-layered design in stunning shades of blue. Delicate beads hang from the bottom to create an elegant, decorative look. The mounting rod is made from brass pipe with brass finials and attached string for hanging.
